More of a "blue collar" runner on the track, Master Of The Sea went postward 51 times, finishing in the money 43% of those races.
MOTS had no cartilage in a deteriorated ankle. It was bone on bone. He was so lame he was taken to Dr. Major at Oakridge Equine for an assessment. His only chance to live a comfortable pain free life was to try and inject his ankle with Everclear. After the 3rd treatment, MOTS' ankle had fused and he is pasture sound spending his time leisurely grazing with the permanent retirees.
We would like to thank the Remington Park racing office and stewards for chipping in to pay for his treatment.
