JB came to us in the late spring of 2014. He livened everyday with his happy go lucky spirit and he loved to play and buck around the pasture. He was blossoming into a very talented jumper and loved his new career. JB was just days away from being picked up to go to his newly adopted home when he had to be humanly euthanized after sustaining a broken pelvis in a freak pasture accident.

My True Slew

My True Slew

Even though Slew had been adopted she will always be a part of the OTRP family. Slew passed away from colic on June 1, 2014.

Evening Reward

Evening Reward

Evening Reward developed a diaphragmatic hernia after being adopted. He could not handle the rigors of being ridden anymore due to compromising lung function. As with OTRP policy we will take back any horse that has been in the OTRP program. He happily re-joined so many of his old OTRP pasture buddies. Evening Reward passed away on ???? 2014.

Dulcinea Quixote

Dulcinea Quixote

Dulci had to be put down on July 4, 2013, after suffering from a severe bout of colic. She was the sassy queen of the pasture and knew it.

K O Tebow and Okie Leggins

K O Tebow and Okie Leggins

The 2013 Moore tornado took so much from so many. Tebow and Legs had been adopted and were so happy at their new home at Celestial Acres. They had only been at their new home for just a little over a month when they tragically died in the monster storm.

PROGRAM

EST. 2007

Somewhere, somewhere

In time's own space,

There must be some sweet pastured place...

Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow,

Some paradise

where horses go.

For by the love that guides my pen,

I know great horses

live again.
